SNSI is Indiana’s statewide financial assistance organization. By working with more than 120 shared-mission veterinarians, we help more than 225 rescue groups and shelters get their animals fixed before adoption. We also provide free surgery certificates to groups and shelters with Community Cat programs. Through our SNAP program, limited-income pet owners pay just $20 per surgery.
These surgeries have saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of animals. Please help SNSI do even more!
If you’ve managed to get your hands on an old SNAP application with our old PO Box address, please be advised that your mail won’t be delivered to us. Please send it to:

Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana provides spay & neuter assistance.
SNSI helps Hoosiers get them fixed by providing low-cost surgery certificates to limited-income individuals and free surgery certificates to 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare groups and municipal shelters. A statewide network of veterinarians graciously discount their services for our clients, and SNSI pays the remaining cost. Since our inception in 1977, we have helped spay/neuter more than 110,000 pets.
In addition to providing direct services, SNSI also works to provide information regarding resources in your area. Learn more by visiting our Indiana Animals Resources Listed by County
The Spay-Neuter Assistance Program is for limited income pet owners. Pet owners pay $20 per surgery in SNSI’s statewide network after meeting eligibility requirements.
